Advisory Board

The St. Leonard Youth Retreat Center Advisory Board is a consultative body to the local members of the Congregation of St. Joseph.

It operates within the framework of the Congregation of St. Joseph's Rule.

The purpose of the St. Leonard Youth Retreat Center Advisory Board is to provide advice, assistance and support to the St. Leonard Youth Retreat Center.

The mission and spirit of the Congregation of St. Joseph form the context in which the Advisory Board operates.

Members possess both a basic knowledge and appreciation of the charism of the Congregation of St. Joseph; value and support its mission; and are willing to serve the needs of today's youth.

Responsibilites of the St. Leonard Youth Retreat Center Advisory Board include:

  • To clarify, communicate and evaluate the mission, policies and goals of the St. Leonard Youth Retreat Center.
  • To review, support and evaluate the programs of the St. Leonard Youth Retreat Center.
  • To establish and sustain short and long-term development plans for the St. Leonard Youth Retreat Center.
  • To advise on matters of operation of the St. Leonard Youth Retreat Center (personnel needs, purchasing practices, maintenance, fund-raising, etc.)
